We are navigating a "Polycrisis"—a convergence of economic instability, social unrest, and public health challenges with no end in sight. The cost is disproportionately borne by marginalized groups who largely lack the time, resources, and access to traditional wellness tools. On paper? I’m a scientist with a 20-year career who has led over $500M in federal science investments. I'm also the Founder and CEO of Hortiki Plants, an award-winning garden brand sold by Target and featured by Good Morning America.
In my daily life? I've been just like many of you: striving to be a high-achiever but running on fumes.
Years of relentless hustle, business challenges, and illness led me to a breaking point that traditional "wellness" couldn't fix. I didn't have time for a meditation retreat or to sit in stillness to 'process grief'. I needed a total system reboot—and I needed it to work fast!
I dove into the study of neuroscience and discovered that play—whether it’s juggling, getting outside, or chasing curiosity in my business—was the key to unlocking my recovery and growth.
Now I'm on a mission to play my way to a life and business I love—and I want you right there with me.
