FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Washington, DC – Dr. Victoria LeBeaux, founder of Hortiki Plants, is proud to announce a significant expansion of her collaboration with Verizon, officially becoming an advocate for the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready (VSBDR) program. This new role further solidifies Dr. LeBeaux's commitment to empowering fellow entrepreneurs and fostering a thriving small business ecosystem, while also expanding networking opportunities and opening the door for new partnerships for Hortiki Plants.
This is a natural progression of the Hortiki Plants partnership with Verizon, building upon the company's participation in the Verizon sponsored DC Small Business Summit, Verizon's Black History Month Celebration, and Hortiki Plant's win of the $25,000 VSBDR SuperFan Award. As a small business owner with eight years of experience, Dr. LeBeaux is passionate about giving back and helping other entrepreneurs achieve success. This new advocacy role allows Dr. LeBeaux to leverage her extensive knowledge and "super user" experience with the VSBDR platform to guide and support businesses in the digital economy.
"Having personally benefited from the resources and opportunities offered through Verizon's initiatives, I'm incredibly excited to step into the role of a Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Advocate," says Dr. LeBeaux. "My journey has shown me the immense power of digital readiness, and I'm eager to share that expertise and help other small businesses unlock their full potential. This role also allows Hortiki Plants to connect with a wider network of entrepreneurs and potential collaborators, which is invaluable for our growth."
As a VSBDR Advocate, Dr. LeBeaux will play a crucial role in connecting small businesses with the free resources available through the program, including online courses, coaching, and networking opportunities. Dr. LeBeaux will offer digital strategy guidance, helping businesses understand how to leverage digital tools and platforms to improve their operations, marketing, and overall success. Furthermore, she will actively engage with local entrepreneurs through workshops, presentations, and one-on-one personalized support, offering tailored guidance based on their specific needs. Dr. LeBeaux will also inform businesses about vital grant opportunities, such as the $10,000 grant available through the program until June 30, 2025.
Throughout the remainder of the year, Dr. LeBeaux will be participating in local small business events, sharing firsthand insights into how to effectively utilize the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready platform and offering practical advice gleaned from her eight years in business.
Dr. LeBeaux is excited to continue building a thriving partnership with Verizon, dedicated to empowering small businesses across the nation.
