This calendar is all about learning and having a blast by getting your hands dirty in the garden! Get ready to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math right in your own backyard (or even on a balcony!).

June Challenges: Let's Get Growing!

Week 1	From Tiny Seed to Green Sprout!	Planting Time & Guessing Game: Plant your seeds just like your kit says. Then, draw or write down what you think will happen to your seeds each day for the first week!	Watch how seeds wake up and grow, learn what plants need (like sun and water), practice counting your seeds, and make cool guesses!
Week 2	Secret Life of Soil!	Dirt Detective Experiment: Grab small scoops of soil from different places (like your garden, a pot, or the park). Look closely at them, feel them, and even give them a sniff! You can also try a simple test to see how water drains through them.	Find out about different kinds of soil, why healthy soil is super important, and how to be a science observer. If your kit has a moisture sensor, try it out on your dirt samples!
Week 3	Water, Water Everywhere!	Smart Watering Challenge: Measure how much water you give your plants every day. You can even build a simple rain catcher using an empty plastic bottle and a ruler to see how much rain falls! Week 6	Bug & Bee Dance Party!	Insect Investigator: Spend some quiet time watching your garden for tiny creatures. Can you spot any busy bees or pretty butterflies? Draw the bugs you see and learn what amazing jobs they do for your plants!	Learn about all the different living things, why bugs are important helpers in the garden, and practice drawing what you see.
Week 7	Harvest Time & Treasure Hunt!	Pick Your Produce & Count Your Treasures: When your yummy plants are ready, pick your fruits or veggies! Count how many you grew, measure how big they are, and write down what you found. Take pictures or videos to remember your amazing success!	See how your plants finish their journey, practice counting and measuring, and use cool tech to show off your harvest!
Week 8	Garden Art & Creations!	Nature's Art Studio: Use any extra garden bits (like dried flowers, cool leaves, or small rocks) to make a nature craft, a tiny garden, or even art right on the ground!
